At HandWritten Wellness, we believe that wellness isn’t just a luxury—it’s a right. We’re committed to making self-care accessible to everyone, particularly those in the Black and Brown communities, who often face unique challenges and stressors. Enter the Healing Hands Initiative, a quarterly program offered completely free of charge to both sponsors and sponsorees, designed to share the restorative magic of massage therapy with deserving individuals who could use a little extra love and care.

• When: The Healing Hands Initiative is open every three months. Open enrollment begins the second Friday of January, April, July, and October, and closes the first Friday of the following month.
• What: Every cycle, HandWritten Wellness will offer one free wellness massage to a deserving individual nominated by a sponsor.
• Who Can Be Nominated: Nominees should be individuals who have shown resilience, contributed to their community, or faced significant challenges. In short: people who inspire us and deserve to be pampered!
• Nomination Process: Sponsors can submit a 1-2 paragraph response explaining why their nominee deserves this revitalizing experience. Each sponsor can submit up to five nominations per enrollment period.

We heard you! This year, sponsors have additional ways to support the Healing Hands Initiative. Please note that this is a free program, and the options to cover the service for a nominee or make a donation are completely optional.

1. Cover the Service: Sponsors now have the option to pay for the massage service directly for their nominee if they wish.
2. Donate to the Cause: Not nominating someone this time? No problem! Sponsors can make a general donation to the Healing Hands Initiative, helping us expand the program and touch more lives.

• Frequency: Individuals can be nominated as many times as a sponsor sees fit; however, to keep things fair, winners are ineligible to win again for two open cycles (approximately six months).
• Selection: Submissions will be carefully reviewed, and the winner will be announced via our social media channels and email communication.
• Raffle Bonus: Sponsors who submit nominations are automatically entered into a raffle to win a free service themselves—a little something to say “thank you” for your generosity and commitment to community wellness.

This isn’t just about a massage—it’s about cultivating a sanctuary for healing, connection, and self-care. We recognize the distinct challenges and stressors that disproportionately impact Black and Brown communities, and we are dedicated to helping alleviate those burdens. The Healing Hands Initiative goes beyond relaxation—it’s about acknowledging resilience, uplifting spirits, and fostering physical and emotional wellness. By providing this opportunity, we aim to inspire a ripple effect of compassion and connection that strengthens individuals and communities alike.

• Open Enrollment: January 12 – February 2
• Winner Announcement: First or second week of February (date to be announced)
